Here's how I've helped some clients with consultancy on specific marketing projects:
- One client needed to review their SEO and PPC agencies. They brought me on board to give them a fresh perspective. I audited the channels (and the agencies' work) which helped refine what they needed most from the next agency. I collaborated on their tender document, helped them choose a shortlist of agencies and scored the proposals and pitch meetings.
- Another client needed direction on their digital team structure and size. I worked with the team and other colleagues to help them define team roles, and gaps within the team
- And what started with a digital marketing audit for one client then led to some really interesting customer interview research which fed into their longer-term marketing strategy

- What started as a PPC audit for another client led to me helping them recruit a digital marketing executive for their team. I've worked with many clients who need to hire digital marketing staff or agencies but don't understand it themselves - I try and teach them as much as they need to know to be able to manage digital teams effectively.
- Finally, my first client was a start-up who already had a marketing plan in place but needed help executing it across paid media. So I coached the in-house team, teaching them how to test different messaging and creative, execute the ads then how to measure success.
